Here is a scene from Wupatki National Monument in north-central Arizona. I find that the peace of a place long ago deserted by its inhabitants is an interesting contrast for today's generations as they live through what it must have been like to live there in its heyday. This man looks to be briefly standing in place of one of the ancient Puebloans looking out across the desert.
